Setting Up Mobile Domain for A Rich Perspective

I've recently acquired the domain richpalmer.mobi. I am setting it up to point to the mobile version of this blog.

I discovered a service that lets you present your RSS feed in a mobile friendly version at Mippin.com. They also allow you to monetize your feed, so if you are interested in gaining revenue from your site -- and want to present it in a more friendly fashion to mobile browsers that aren't quite as friendly with CSS -- this might be a good option for you.

And because this is a new account, I am required to validate it for Mippin. Please disregard anything else in this post. :)

Skyfire Browser

This is what I've been using as my primary browser on my new HTC Tilt 2 phone. I'm not a fan of Internet Explorer in any fashion, mobile not withstanding. Interestingly enough, my phone came loaded with Opera Mobile as the default browser. It doesn't run. I have yet to have successful page loads with it.

I downloaded Skyfire immediately after getting this phone (I had it on my Blackjack II) and set it to default. If you want to run web video (almost ALL) and audio -- and have a Windows Mobile or Symbian device -- this is the browser for you.
